Life FM @ The Show!!

This year Life FM will be doing some broadcasting LIVE from the show from our own Life FM stand. The Show happens from the 3rd to the 11th of September, and we'll be there from 10am to 6pm each day.

If you'd like to go to the show too, you might like to help us out for a few hours while you're there. You'll get to meet thousands of people, give away loads of stuff, and have a great time too! You'll also be helping to raise the profile of Life FM in the community.

New music on air this week on Life FM from one of Adelaide's favourite's - Stan Walker. With his new album "From the Inside Out" due instores August 20th, his brand new single "Choose You" has just hit the airwaves - keep an ear out for it.

Mat Kearney's second single off his album "City of Black and White" is out now, and on-air. With that unmistakable sound of Mat's you'll notice it straight away!

The search is underway to find a new Breakfast Announcer for 107.9 Life FM - and it could be you!

If you've got a fun personality, a heart for the station, and don't mind getting up early, you could be what we're looking for.

We want you to join the nationwide search by entering "Serve Breakfast for Life" - but hurry, entries close midnight July 25th.

If you like your sleep-ins too much - that's ok, but keep listening as we ask you to help us choose who should take on the responsibility of waking you up each weekday morning!

Good-bye Leroy!!

Sad news as Life FM says good-bye to Leroy Brown. Leroy is returning to Victoria for family reasons, and will have his final hoorah at Life FM on Friday July 16th.

Thank you for all the laughs, fun and inspiratio you have given us - you will be missed by all.

June Appeal Phone Room Volunteers

Life FM's June Appeal is on now, and we're asking you - How do you support Life FM?

One way you could show your support, is to volunteer to help out behind the scenes on the 28th, 29th and 30th of June in our June Appeal Tally Room to help process donations.

You need to have good basic computer skills, enjoy speaking with people on the phone, not mind working in a busy and bustling atmosphere, and be ready to have lots of fun!

Training is provide, and we need volunteers on all three days from 6am to 7pm - so what time suits you? Can you donate a couple of hours of your time?

If so, send your details to email@life.on.net along with a contact phone muber and the dyas/times you would be available.

Hopefully, we'll talk to you soon!

Toys for Toy Stories Winner Announced

Congratulations to the Pek family of Littlehampton who won Life FM's "Toys for Toy Stories" competition! They are taking 20 friends to see Toy Story 3 when it is released, all thanks to Life FM's generous friends at Wallis Cinemas.
